Improving your mental health starts with understanding the problem. At the initial appointment we will complete an in-depth comprehensive evaluation to diagnose the problem. We will also discuss your goals and explore the best options for achieving these goals.
If D.I.V.E is a good fit for you, we will schedule follow up therapy sessions. These are weekly sessions typically 45-50 minutes aimed at addressing problem areas in order to achieve your desired therapy goals. On occasion, we may need to schedule a longer appointment to address your needs (e.g. a session with a partner or family member). There are a number of treatment options and we will collaborate to determine which approach is the best fit for you.
GENDER AFFIRMING MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATIONS
As an LGBTQ ally with a specialized background in LGBTQ health, I offer mental health evaluations and letters for gender affirming hormone therapy and/or gender confirmation surgery. I approach this visit as a consultation to assist you in both understanding the process and preparing for this important transition. VETERAN MENTAL HEALTH DISABILITY EVALUATIONS
Are you a military Veteran seeking a mental health evaluation for your VA disability claim?
